I think I'd like to wait for more feedback on this before implementing this tweak. Perhaps wait for users to ramp up on sharing scenarios and/or using the addressing fields to attach who- ness to items. The prevalence of 'cr/ed me' your experience may be a symptom of an unclear Who column design and perhaps generally making the Who column more useful to people will end up being a better way to address this problem. Does that sound reasonable?
