OK, I guess I haven't been exposed enough to apps in which Refresh is 
used in that way. In Eclipse, which is what I spend most of my time 
in, "Refresh" is used to sync up Eclipse's view of the workspace with 
its actual state on the filesystem, and always annoys me when I have to 
use it. :-)

I'm guessing the best choice for this is whatever resonates the most 
with a new user, and is obviously different from "sync" and its icon.
