Mimi, I also often work in the note mode. In fact I currently have a use case that I could provide as an example. I am looking for Day-Cares/ Pre-schools for my kids. I make notes of all the good ones I am interested in. Then as I schedule the interviews, I stamp some of those as events and put them on the calendar. Not having a note view does make it difficult to scan thru the notes to check which ones are left to be scheduled. Lately I have been resorting to stamping those as tasks just for easier access.
