http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/chandler-users/2007-November/ 000874.html Moving this discussion over to the Design List. Hi Benjamin, Trying to summarize the proposal here. Also tweaked the verbiage of the menu items a bit. 1. Under the View menu, we have... View>> . . . . ----- Visible Hours>> ----- Saved Views>> + Save View + Delete View + Switch Views>> ++ <VIEW NAME> CTRL/CMD+F1 ++ <VIEW NAME> CTRL/CMD+F2 ++ <VIEW NAME> CTRL/CMD+F3 === 2. Selecting "Save View" pops up the following dialog: === Save View ----- View Name: [ ] [Cancel] [Save] === 3. Saving a View would save the following view attributes: + Application area + Selected/Overlaid collections + Window size + Pane sizes + Column widths + Column sort + Open/Closed Triage Sections + Month versus Day versus Week View 4. Selecting "Delete View' pops up the following dialog: === Delete View ----- Are you sure you want to delete <VIEW NAME>? [Cancel] [Delete] === Mimi On Nov 7, 2007, at 11:56 AM, Benjamin Wilreker wrote: > Hi All, > > Regarding assigning function keys, I suggest the following changes to > the view menu: > > View --> > Saved Views Manager--> > Save View > Delete Saved View > Switch Views--> > [user defined name 1]: CTRL+F1 > [user defined name 2]: CTRL+F2 > [user defined name 3]: CTRL+F3 > et cetera > > SAVE VIEW would 1.
