Many Desktop users will actually provide email account information, so
we could add a special header to the activation email the server sends
to make automated processing easier and do the email hand-shake entirely
in the desktop client.

This isn't fool proof (email sometimes gets delayed), but it'd work
rather nicely most of the time, I think.
