randy - booked flight to SFO for first week in June so plan on working in sf June 2-5 - currently testing scheduler prototype as I have most of the pieces working. For example it can load a schedule from a user, schedule a job, have the job run as that user for security purposes, and hand results off to a Notifier (currently the notifier implementation just logs the results, but the idea is to have an email notifier). sheila - chat with mimi about meetings with people - next steps for demos - bunch of lunches to set up for next week, preparing for that - bit behind on list moderation (doing that now, spam) mimi - almost done with product tour screens - met with chao - need to write up notes, but had mini-light bulb go off about what it *actually* means to have a target market (as opposed to target user) - spoke with gunner from Aspiration: going to demo for him and maybe some others from the Aspiration Tech Center next Thursday - tentatively schedule a "Chandler seminar" in early June at the Tech Center - bring in some non-profits to give a tutorial on Chandler, see how it might be useful to them - also mentioned some other non-profit / tech contacts he'd be happy to introduce us to, once we have a more solid story - idea is talking / demoing to Aspiration and some folks from local non-profits will help us solidify how Chandler can help small non- profits - demoing for Lisa next Monday - once I have product tour done, I will try and catch up on users list and write up meeting notes travis - more work on testing sharing dialog backend - noticed a bug in activation workflows that led to a couple others, all fixed now - restarted hub this morning, had to kill -9, which was a little scary, but things seem ok - best guess is that hub failure was the same that rletness has been seeing (server process wonky) and thinks might be fixed by tomcat upgrade - so if that upgrade already happened, we might still have the problem - otherwise, still hoping it will fix periodic failures - today: more work on backend, hopefully start integratiion into web ui, working with jeffrey who's camping out here for the day - leaving at 5 or a few minutes before to go play in the mountains jeffrey - yesterday I spent a long time diagnosing weird failures on archive.osafoundation.org: they seem to be fixed now, took a long time - also I've been delving deeper into Cosmo UI stuff so as to do the UI change for login/activation in a more appropriate way - hanging out at Travis' today, talking about web ui work _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Open Source Applications Foundation "chandler-dev" mailing list http://lists.osafoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/chandler-dev
