I've run into that d-click issue in the calendar canvas and in the table 
view. I miss being able to double-click an item in the calendar or the 
table to edit the item's title. I've had to adjust, or rather I'm in the 
process of adjusting, my behavior. I'd be happy to "unadjust".

I think that's a good idea, that is, to leave d-click alone. Either that 
or, speaking as a Windows user, consider assigning to the F2 key the 
function of putting the title into the edit mode, similar to what occurs 
in Microsoft Excel and other apps. I don't know what the equivalent Mac 
or Linux function is.
