=0A=0AHi, I used Chandler for a few weeks, but found it to be too slow-load=
ing. =0AAnyway, I took some notes for you guys if you are able to do someth=
ing useful =0Awith them to improve Chandler =E2=80=93 great! If not, no ins=
ult taken. Hope what I =0Awrote makes some sense at least. Here were my ide=
as:=0A =0ASuggestions:=0A- Way too slow under Windows XP SP3, 32-b=
it version.=0A- Load program faster=0A- Tray icon=0A- =
Drag-&-Drop task with mouse from one Category to another; not just =
=0Acopy/cut function via keyboard shortcuts. Also, add shortcuts like in Wi=
ndows: =0AShift + Drag-&-Drop task actually copies the task to the other Ca=
tegory ( =3D =0A=E2=80=9CCopy=E2=80=9D function ), while a simple Drag-&-Dr=
op with mouse (without holding the =0AShift keyboard key) just moves the ta=
sk to the other Category ( =3D =E2=80=9CCut=E2=80=9D function =0A).=0A- =
Arrange tasks by DATE =E2=80=93 make Year fist, Month second, Date th=
ird in =0Athe arrangements. Arrange by latest date at beginning of list, or=
at end of =0Alist, if we click on the arrange column button a second time,=
life it is in =0AWindows Explorer. Put ARROW next to column that is the cu=
rrent active =0Aorganization option. ARROW pointing UP in the Date column m=
eans that all items & =0Atasks are currently organized by ascending date. F=
rom A-to-Z or from Z-to-A. =0A=0Ao On top should be =E2=80=9CToday=E2=
=80=9D, then Tomorrow, then next Calendar date, =0Aarranged by Year/Month/D=
ate, and at the end of the list should be Yesterday, =0Athen the dates goin=
g backwards, from the most recent date of the past, to the =0Amost distant =
date in the past.=0A- Option to View ONLY the =E2=80=9CNOW=E2=80=
=9D category, or just the NOW & LATER =0Acategory.=0A- Option to d=
elete past repetitive events in the DONE category, without =0Ahaving to del=
ete the entire repetitive event, since it might be still active.=0A- =
Put levels of organizing the display of items by column. ARRANGE =0Afirs=
t by Date, then by Name, or then by Task/Item status. =0A=0A- Abil=
ity to Change the Order of the way Tasks & Items appear in the =0Alist of e=
ach of the 3 categories. Option to number each Task & Item, from 1 to =0A99=
99=E2=80=A6. And please allow for items that are numbered just =E2=80=9C1=
=E2=80=9D to be put on top of =0Athe list, so that items numbered =E2=80=9C=
10=E2=80=9D do not take their place on the top of the =0Alist. This mistake=
happens in Windows Explorer, and the solution there is to =0Arename files =
with a =E2=80=9C01=E2=80=9D at the beginning of the filename, and not just =
=E2=80=9C1=E2=80=9D, =0Abecause the 0 comes before the 1, and so Windows Ex=
plorer puts the 01 before the =0A10. Otherwise, a file whose name starts wi=
th a 1 is put AFTER the file whose =0Aname starts with 10.=0A- Bri=
an Tracy prioritizing organization add-on: Urgent, Important, A1, =0A2, 3=
=E2=80=A6 to D1, 2, 3=E2=80=A6 with different colors, automatically arrangi=
ng itself.=0A- Add-on with my auto-importance calculator of each t=
ask, item or =0Aproject. User give approx time it will take, if it=E2=80=99=
s urgent, important, when it =0Ais due, how much time the entire project wi=
ll take, or just add (drag-&-drop) =0Aitems & tasks into project, and entir=
e duration will be calculated by the sum of =0Athe parts.=0A- =0A=
- Visible Hours: =E2=80=9CFrom HH:MM to HH:MM=E2=80=9D option. E=
x: From 9am to 10pm, =0Aevery day/ on weekdays only / every Wednesday=E2=80=
=A6 Option to set up Visible Hours =0Afor each day of the week, for weekday=
s and weekends separately, for custom days =0A(every 3 days/weeks, etc.) or=
Calendar Dates, or depending on a specific events =0Ain calendar (ex: Holi=
days, Birthdays=E2=80=A6) as well.=0A- Ability to give Titles to e=
ach day in Calendar. Ex: Work day. Fishing =0Atrip day. Our Anniversary day=
.=0A- Alarms: Custom SOUNDS/Videos/Open or Start Custom Program on=
Alarm, =0AEntire screen flashing 1, 2 or more custom Colors (ex: Make enti=
re computer =0Ascreen display GREEN color for 1 second, then RED color for =
0.2 seconds, then =0AYellow color for 3 seconds), with or without sound. Or=
just make entire screen =0AYELLOW, until any keyboard key is pressed to re=
turn back to normal desktop. =0ASnooze option should be available too, with=
 option of setting custom minutes for =0Asnooze (3; 7; 8 minute and 30 sec.=
). Option in Preferences menu for setting a =0ADEFAULT value for snooze tim=
e, so we don=E2=80=99t have to do it manually every time =0Aafter each alar=
m.=0A- Replace all text of this type ___ with ___ (Match case opti=
on [like =0Ain Notepad or MS Word], which includes the sub-options: uppers =
CAPS/ lower caps/ =0AMiXeD LeTTeRs)=0A- When setting Calendar even=
ts, or alarms, place visual calendar, so we =0Asee the entire month, with d=
ays of the week, like we see it in the bottom left =0Aof Chandler. =0A=0A- =
Option to change the keyboard or mouse Shortcut buttons or =0Acomb=
inations of buttons.
