Re: design goals?

A number of the answers are derived from the principles expressed in the 
mission statement and product description on the web site.

We're very focused on making a highly useable product for non-expert 
users.  Therefore, experimentation with novel approaches is likely to be 
limited in the 1.0 timeframe.  After that, it's likely things will loosen 
up, especially as development proceeds more and more in parallel.
