You guys are thinking too much. It's not related to the kernel config.
Just check how the clock is configured in FC4. It can happen when one
distro is told that the BIOS clock has time in UTC and another distro
is told that the time is in Local time. If the time zone is set as
Asia/Calcutta, there should be a difference of 5.5 hours between the
other distros. Check that and fix the setting.
