Will you please explain how to configure pppoe for a single non
networked computer,bear tthat i know little about networking!what
should
be done to stop debian from searching for networked computers by
runnung DHCPDISCOVER?What will be the values if we are configuring
eth0 manually(no DHCP)?I use dataone 256 modem HUAWEI SmartAX MT880.my
network-admin GUI shows two networks present
first is unknown dslconnection
and eth0(which i configred using DHCP).For DSL to start
i use pon dsl-provider,then it shows rp-pppoe0 ? loaded.BUt I need to
run network-admin and check enable eth0(GUI Hangs) and run pon
dsl-provider
dsl will be connected.please help
