Re: Summit 2005: College of Engineering Chengannur

Dear all,

Next time we undertake activities like this, it would be better if we

1. Discuss the details on list on in one of our monthly meets;
2. Identify each  individual(s) responsible  for each activity  on the
list;

and

3. If any of  the above decisions are made off list,  (that is at face
   to face meets (including monthly meets),

   a. Make sure that an advance  notice of such meeting with agenda is
      posted in advance on the mailing list;

   b. minutes of such meeting is posted on the mailing list.

It is not that I am complaining; ours is a purely voluntary group, and
if our  activities and decisions  are not transparent,  if responsible
persons  are publicly identified,  we will  be helpless  if un-related
persons starting claiming that they are the ``FSUG-Kochi''.

This  `adopt  and  extend'  has  happened  to  several  free  software
activities; so please be careful in the future.

Wishing  the SUMMIT 2005  and volunteers  of the  FSUG-Kochi attending
there all success,
