hello, if ur using gnome DE,then u can use gstreamer on startup which supports multiple sound events in gstreamer-aware apps..for that u can select start sound @t startup-option from desktop preferences...also an easier way is to check which sound server works gr8 on ur setup..for that jus type in a terminal:"gstreamer-preferences" and set ALSA or ESD and test whether it works...Best of LUX..as i have a 915GAV board too..
