hello,
did U installed python-gtk2?
cosmic:~# apt-get install python-gtk2
cosmic:~# apt-get install python-gtk2-dev
Also if u use debian variants,
cosmic:~# apt-get install checkinstall
after installing checkinstall,u can make .deb packages
after ./configure ;make and instead of make install or any other
U can use "checkinstall -D" to generate a debian package.Best of LUX
