Re: gdm and security stuff

find which program is  using dpkg,apt
prakash@sputnik:~$ sudo lsof |grep dpkg
prakash@sputnik:~$ sudo lsof |grep apt
try terminating those programs..
/etc/init.d/gdm restart/reload
