It is not the look and feel that prevent users to adapt GNU/Linux but the resistance/fear to go for a different system or the difficulty to unlearn something. There are several desktops available for GNU/Linux and many of them looks and feel better than XP. So our strategy should be to make new users feel that GNU/Linux is something different to the proprietary system they are familiar with, but it is not very difficult to migrate to this system. ~vimal
