gcc-3.2 -compiling problem

im using Debian it @schools distribution
ive installed gcc-3.2 in my system

im able to complie my c file created by the command "gcc-3.2 -c aa.c"
(filename aa.c)
and obtain the object file aa.o

but im not able to get the exe file by the command "gcc-3.2 aa.o -o aa" or "
gcc-3.2 -o aa aa.c"
error messages obtained are...
/usr/bin/ld: ctr1.o: No such file: No such file or directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

what can i do? please give a solution
