Hi, Sorry to resurrect an old thread. On Tuesday, July 12th, 2005 06:55Z Mahesh T. Pai wrote: > BTW, the chillu characters have been accepted for encoding, and the > code points have to be finalised. Well, sorry to be picky, but experience had shown that two months is a bit optimistic. The Unicode committee meets once per month, but the ISO working group only meets twice or thrice a year (last was in China in January, next is in September in Southern France)... Furthermore, while various Malaylam numbers show up on http://www.unicode.org/alloc/Pipeline.html with codepoints, the cillus (with codepoints proposed for allocation at 0D7A..0D7F) seem to be now on the http://www.unicode.org/alloc/rejected.html page, which is NOT a Good Sign. Sorry, I do not know what happened on August 12th; will investigate. Antoine
