I think, this will work well for the new lipi well than for the traditional
lipi, but I don't know, I may be wrong.

Yes, that's right. Let us concentrate on QT rendering of Malayalam. Can you
look into the QT rendering of indic scripts? Probably that is a good topic
for your final year thesis.
