It did...
And when they made an offer, I said:
"Thanks for the offer. I can see that it is a good offer and very close to
what I was expecting, which is {the offer + £2,000}".
So they came back with offer + £1,000 instead, and I accepted the job...
which I stayed in for 7 years until I resigned to be full time running my
own company.
