More info on the new Perenco Apprenticeship scheme for Wytch Farm:****

As mentioned in the town hall, we will be taking a single (process)
apprentice through OPITO and three apprentices (2 instrument and 1
electrical) through SETA (Southampton Engineering Training Association). ***

The SETA course content has been refined and will be a year full time at
college, followed by day release college for a further two years (whilst on
site with us). ****

Apprentices can apply via the National Apprenticeship website. To view it,
or to direct people to it, visit www.apprenticeships.org.uk and click on
the ‘Search for vacancies’ link.  This should take you to a search page;
you can type in Perenco as a key word and Dorset.   For people who haven’t
created a login to the website, they will get the ‘headline’ details on the
vacancy; if they wish to apply, they will need to login.****

Applicants are then aptitude tested by SETA with the results provided to us
for selection to interview.   Interviews are provisionally scheduled for
the first week of August.****
