Interesting The router is a standard BSN issue ZTE ZXDSL 531B modem with built in wifi. ** no did not change the router - but a lighting storm "reset" the configuration and have tried using both an ethernet cable connection and the wifi. and there is no change ** The mtu settings are at 1492 (the highest possible in the range of 576 to 1492) and it does not allow a higher figure.
