This demand and rationale is as strange as DTC in Delhi, BeST in Mumbai, BMTC in Mumbai chiefs getting together and asking for government to ask commuters who use it's services to go to their place of business and earn a healthy income, to start paying more -- just because they are efficient and happened to be able to devise a clever business plan, execute it to perfection to their advantage. The fact that the commuter is paying your regular bus-fare, isn't enough. The reason that DTC, BeST and BMTC cite is that if they do not earn money from this rich buggers, it cannot buy new buses or upgrade to newer better buses. No wonder these people got themselves into this truck-load of muck in the first place.
