Re: What kind of activities do we want to do?

3) Lack of participation
4) Lack of games
5) Lack of interest

When a 2nd attempt at game day was brought up, I think the general decision
was that Linux is not a good gaming OS, and that a game day should consist
of playing Windows games, and thus should not be officially sponsored by
ACLUG.

I'm a bit inclined to still agree, even tho Linux gaming has improved since
then.

If everyone had a network-ready computer with, say Quake 3 (or some other
pre-designated game(s)), and we could just plug them into a hub and go, that
would be the only way to make it worth while, IMHO.

And even then, it'd still be a bit questionable as to whether it's worth the
hassle of hauling computers around for just a few hours of playing.
