June Aclug Presentation: Computer Hardware: Monday, June 10, 7:30PM

This month Jonathan Hall will be leading a discussion on how to select computer
hardware components when building or upgrading a Linux computer when considering
cost, pefromance, compatibility, and hardware capabilities.

This will be an open discussion and will cover such topics as motherboards,
processors, memory, video and sound cards, hard drives, CD, CD-RW, and DVD
drives, network cards, modems, and more.

Everyone is welcome to participate and offer oppinions on their favorite
hardware, or ask questions.  Anyone who has access to hardware reviews or
benchmarks from magazines or web sites is encouraged to bring them to add to the
discussion.

As always, presentations will begin at 7:30pm in either Rm 260 or 261 of Jabara
Hall on the WSU Campus. In the event that we need to move to an alternate room,
a sign will be placed near the 2nd floor elevator directing you to the alternate
room.
