Topic: SSID & CHANNELS SETTINGS Cascading two wireless routers due to poor signal in half of my home, the routers are connected via wired connection: Router #1 = Cable Modem + Wireless: Linksys WCG200 ver.2 Cable Modem Router #2 = Wireless: WRTU54G-TM Object: Be able to carry, Laptop / iPod / Netbook across the house with out loosing signal! Before adding second router I would go through a door way to the converted room (formally a garage) all signal is lost! So can I use the same SSID setting on both ROUTERS? But use a Different Channel say 6 & 11? Will my portable devices automatically change channels with out loss of WiFi connection?? Currently using two different SSID names and I loose connection and have to change WiFi connection.
