The amount of time it took me to find and pass along the links is surely comparable to the amount of time it took you to compose your response to the query. And, since the spirit of the organization, and in turn the mailing list includes "...promoting Linux as a replacement for Windows and NT, supporting those that are considering switching to Linux, and providing a way for people running Linux to share ideas and information with each other" perhaps we should respond in a manner that works towards achieving those goals. In blunt terms our messages said the same things. Mine was polite and provided resources that might be helpful to the seeker. Your message simply perpetuated the perception of Linux and the utilization of open source technology as being the stomping grounds for boorish, elitist, and exclusionary geeks.
