Kids coding event: DevNexus Jr - Minecraft Modding with ScriptCraft

Attention Minecrafters! We're doing the inaugural DevNexus Jr event on "Minecraft Modding with ScriptCraft" on Monday, February 15! Note that this kids coding event is on Monday, Feb 15, which is a school holiday.

Details:
Attention Minecrafters! We're doing the inaugural DevNexus Jr event on "Minecraft Modding with ScriptCraft" on Monday, February 15! Our goal is to motivate and excite students about programming. 

Please read the details below carefully to see if your child qualifies. Also, please show up early as we will start at exactly 11am, as you will need time to get your child's laptop connected. The room will be available at 10AM, so we encourage you to arrive early.

7th or 8th grade children only
Must be a current Minecraft player (needs to know the game well)
Must bring own laptop
Must already have Minecraft account
PARENTS: You MUST be available during the duration. You are welcome to bring your laptop and work/relax in the adjacent room, but you must be reachable and nearby. Due to space restrictions, one parent per student please.
Lunch will be provided for students at a nearby restaurant from about 12:30-1:30. Parents will be coming with us to lunch and parents' lunch will also be provided. We will likely not be able to accomodate for special dietary restrictions, so please bring your own food if necessary!

Writing a Minecraft Mod in JavaScript and running it inside the program
Location: Georgia World Congress Center, Building A, room A304.
Time: 11AM - 3PM
Travel info: We encourage you to take MARTA to the GWCC. If you prefer to drive, please park in the lot(s) for building A. We do not cover parking fees.
Why different tickets for girls and boys? 
We want to make sure that we have an equal number of both to encourage diversity in programming. Hence, there are the same number of tickets available for both boys and girls.
