Good Morning, I hope this is not seen as inappropriate for this list. I am the technical chair for the Ga State Skills USA contest in computer programming. I am in need of some judges for next Friday. The Skills USA contest is for secondary and post-secondary students. The 1st place winners at this state championship will get to participate in the national championship this summer: http://www.skillsusa.org/competitions/skillsusa-championships/ Judges Responsibilities: * Interviewing contestants as if they were applying for an entry-level programming position * Evaluating their technical submissions, which are are programs written in languages such as Java, C# and C++. You will be provided a rubric and test-cases to use for the programs. Judges will also be provided breakfast and lunch. The time commitment is from 7:30am to about 2pm. If you can serve part of that time, then I can still utilize you. The event will take place on Friday, 3/18. If you are interested, then please contact me at [email protected] and I’ll provide location and other details. Thank you for your support! Charles R.
