Spring boot help

I want to start out by thanking everyone on this board for all the help
they have given me so far with the issues with spring boot.

I am developing a spring boot rest application using spring security.
I would like to be able to get access to the http servlet request from my
controller code.

With that in mind, could someone point me in a direction.
