hello!
Anyone zooming from SF down to the BayCHI dinner & meeting?
I'd love to hitch a ride and happy to cover gas.
Alternately, would it be possible to nab a ride from the BART station to the
restaurant?
thanks,
Susan

ABSTRACT OF The Complexity and Simplicity of the Search Experience
The user experience of search seems simple, just a search box and a list
of links. But simplicity is always harder than it seems. Udi will
describe how Google Search does it, show lots of examples, and give his
opinion on complexity of design in general.
UDI MANBER is vice-president of Search at Google and was formerly chief
scientist at Yahoo!. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a
master's degree from the Technion in Israel and a master's degree and a
Ph.D. from the University of Washington.
