Re: What's On-Topic for BayCHI Discussions?

Fastest off-topic? 2nd-person singular address. Clearly, "my personal  
sanity" is not the topic at hand.

Topic: Whether political participation is an appropriate posting for  
an open forum hosted from a science-based organization.

I claim that it is not; that to solicit participation from BayCHI  
members for HHS's information technology project is purely a political  
move--therefore, this forum is the wrong venue. Further, if HHS  
persists in legislating against all possible competition in  
healthcare, then it is imperative that those who are being targeted in  
this forum be made aware that alternatives to that broken top-down  
system exist--that usability science is NOT subject to human  
authority--is guided only by research and conclusions.

Those of us who have spent our lives working on this project are  
awaiting The System's failure so we can help rebuild it correctly.
