I just sent out the list of all our winter and early spring courses. They
include a new one, 3Graphic Design Fundamentals,2 that I9d like to tell you
about. If you9re more comfortable designing an application interface than a
Web page with images and colors and a lot of text, this class is worth
looking at. It is not a Web class, but it will give you the background in
typography, color, image selection and layout that will help you function as
a graphic designer (even though that isn9t your title) when you are call
upon to make design decisions. The instructor taught in our (no longer
offered) graphic design program for many years and enjoys the rewards of
teaching non-designers.

any given project, ideate via thumbnail sketches, select appropriate imagery

This course is highly recommended as a foundation for anyone interested in
taking web design courses, especially Graphic Design Principles for the Web.
This course emphasizes visual problem solving skills and not computer
