CA Conf on Cognitive Science, Sat 25 April, UCBerkeley

This Saturday the California Conference on Cognitive Science ("For  
people who like to think about thinking (TM)") is holding a one-day  
meeting at UC Berkeley Faculty Club.  http://cssa.berkeley.edu/ccsc
 From the FAQ I noticed that the charge is $10, and the invited  
speakers are Jeff Hawkins and John Searle.  So far so good.
I tentatively agreed to host a "poster" about careers in cognitive  
science.

Turns out I'm booked all day Saturday, but my brain didn't remember  
quickly enough, because... I was on vacation when the student  
coordinating the "careers" component phoned me.

Back from vacation now.  Here's what's wanted:

Careers for students in Cognitive Science translates into several  
possible directions, including many of the things that BayCHI people  
do professionally.

Perhaps you're interested in attending.  If so, would you be available  
and interested to talk to undergraduates as well as grad students  
about career directions, please send me a response directly.  I'll  
help put together a one page document with contributions from those of  
you with strong opinions, hard-earned wisdom or friendly advice.
