The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society is
holding a free Webinar on The Role of Eye
Tracking in User Experience Research on Friday,
December 11, 2009, starting at 9am PST/Noon
Eastern US Time. The Webinar is presented by
Gavin Lew, Managing Director of
<http://www.usercentric.com/>User Centric, Inc.,
a Chicago area usability consultancy.

This is a great opportunity for you to learn
about this valuable research tool and how it can
be best used in the context of user experience research.

I hope you can attend. This is a free Webinar!!!

Webinar Abstract:
The ability to track eye movements for scientific
research has existed for generations. Recent
technological advances in this area has made both
data collection and analysis easy. Thus, what was
once an extremely cumbersome and time consuming
research endeavor, now is a very intriguing
research technique-with the visual outputs
sometimes being perceived as having more value
than the data itself. With the growing number of
eye tracking system installations in both
academic and commercial research centers, a
discussion of the role of eye tracking in user
experience research is critical. During this
Webinar, Gavin Lew, Managaing Director of User
Centric, Inc. will describe eye tracking
measures, methods and applications to user
experience research. Gavin will also review User
Centric's recent eye tracking study comparing the
Bing and Google search engines
(http://www.usercentric.com/news/2009/06/08/eye-tracking-bing-vs-google-first
-look).
