A few researchers I know have successfully used Amazon's Mechanical
Turk to transcribe interviews. I've personally used other
transcription services (found on Google) that charge roughly a dollar
per minute. In my opinion, delegating the job to a third party
(instead of setting it all up myself using MTurk) was worth the time
and hassle, and afforded better quality control as well.

They did get a few technical terms wrong, but they were quick to
respond with edits.

Regards,
Manas.
