interaction design and engineering.

If you don't think it has direct relevance right now, think again.

Not only do we have a bill coming down the pipeline that will affect  
ANYbody working in the field of human computer interaction in the US,  
but I've been granted a one-on-one sit-down meeting with apparently  
one of the 2 congress-members who is heading up this effort (I am  
lucky enough to live part-time in his district... amplifying even more  
the voice of the usability community).

Again, you are welcome to send concerns, questions, comments to me by  
email and I will take them with me to DC. As I'm able, I'll keep you  
posted while I'm there.
