Here is film I put together at last minute while in Washington this
summer as a selected delegate to the National Council on Disability's
summit re the ADA. The film was made just about entirely on the iPhone
and it was a last minute idea to do it and participants at the thing
just were really hungry to talk to designers and engineers directly. I
look forward to reporting to BayCHI about what I learned at the summit
soon (after the proceedings are complete).

You can already see from this the usual contradiction between the idea
of 'universal design' and accessibility let alone usability - one
person's barrier is another person's ideal ..which leads to
discussions about adaptability Open Source, development strategies and
tools, etc. Don't even get me started on the captioning process...

Best,
Lisa Rose
