FSUG-Kochi Meet for August

Dear all,

Monthly meeting of the Free Software User Group, Kochi, for this month
will be held on 15th August 2004, (Sunday), at 3.00 PM at:-

NANDINI,
S. R. M. Road,
Cochin - 682018.

August 15th  happens to  be Independence day.  And August 16th  is the
birth day of  the people's distro - Debian. So make  sure that you are
there.

Look out for a  huge grey coloured gate with my name  board. This is a
land mark in itself, so it  is difficult to miss. Entry is through the
wicket gate on the side road.

GETTING TO THE VENUE:-=20

Those using own conveyance from Kaloor / Palarivattom side should take
a right turn from the front of the Cochin Stock Exchange and enter SRM
Road  through Manappatiparambu  (the circus/exhibition  ground), since
right turns are prohibited at Lisie Junction.

If using public conveyance, you  should get down at Lisie Junction, in
front of the  Reserve Bank or Stock Exchange. Walk  along SRM Road for
about 10 minutes, or take auto -  it is 7 Rs from Lisie junction, or 8
rupees if you took the auto from the MES/Stock Exchange junction.

If you  are coming from Chitoor/Pachalam  you can enter  SRM Road from
the  Pachalam railway gate,  or if  you are  from Elamakkara/Edappally
side, you can enter SRM Road from the road going West (`The Virus'!!!)
from the  LFC Church junction.  In both cases,  you will find  my name
board on your right hand side.

An  off-list   confirmation  is  certainly   appreciated,  though  not
