Great article from Slashdot about how a 6th grade teacher with the
help of a local LUG was able to have kids learning how to use
computers at no cost

In the days when schools blow hundreds of thousands on getting their
students iPads or make them buy subsidized Windows/OSX based laptops,
this is a great example of what is possible if there is a will.
