Yeah, it was a great presentation.  I was also able to sit in on the session.

Streaming to youtube is an awesome addition to the LUG's capabilities.

I watched the video of the presentation. Pretty cool! I wish I would have been at home to do the hangout.
Anyway, I heard somebody asking about GPIO and comparison with Arduino.

Also if you need more power out of the GPIO interface, there is a board called Gertboard which will extend your RPi. It is not on sale yet, but you can pre-order it.
