Non-Linux question about encryption

I'm taking part in an ARG with a small group of people and we've been given a puzzle involving an encrypted message and a one-time pad. We were told we have all the information we need to decrypt the message, but we haven't made much headway. Does anyone have any experience with OTP encryption or might want to give it a stab?
