Thanks guys. I'm not a windows person. I gave up a control panel look.
Could not use a Linux disk as I was looking for info on the dvd drive. The
drive failed.

Can't you go into "Control Panel --> System --> Device Manager" That
shows all the hardware that is installed.

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD,=A0 an app you want
to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE
