Hi,

We use the English version of open office on RH9 in Chinese.  No font 
problems (as such).
I believe that there is only a limited number of "free" fonts and there may 
be a wider range or better quality available in the Sun version.

If the question is "is OOo a workable solution for an office working in 
Chinese and English" we find that the answer is yes (in both languages).

If I remember correctly, (I rarely use the Chinese) there are 3 GB fonts 
and 2 Big 5 Chinese fonts.  I do not know whether they came with OOo or 
part of the RH installation.
