Hi

For those who may be building new desktops.

I recently set up a new office desktop using an ASRock P4145GL MB - uses 
Intel 845 chip set.
On board everything and seems to be quite compatible with RH9 and probably 
other distros.  Everything works (for office environment) out of the box.

I have other boards with the 845 chipset and they also worked out of the 
box with RH9 but were more of a difficulty with RH8.

I have another board running with an AMD Duron and a VIA chipset and that 
only runs VESA out of the box.  Presumably an update to the X system will 
fix that but I have not tried that yet.
