WEP problem on Mandrake

Hi!

I am using Mandrake 10 on my wireless LAN. Everything is working fine when
WEP encryption is disabled. Though enabling encryption just does not work
for me. I guess I might be entering the key in a wrong format since through
the Mandrake Control Center the Encryption box does not specify any format.
I did some research online (a bit) and could not come up with any fix yet.
Also tried wlcardconfig but it comes up with a error message even before
starting to configure anything.

Anyone with similar problem who managed to get it resolved?
