Dear Michael, I understand that you are looking to buy a machine (not hosting). A bit of info about the size of the company and te number of users would help :-). We are fairly small and just use "el cheapo" machines, run software raid 1, and change them out of server duty about every year or so. I guess you would build a suitable (headless) machine for a bit less than RMB 4,000. Then it is basically just a matter of getting debian disk 1 and apt- getting underway.
