Why not try Ubuntu? also debian based, and so far the most user friendly
Linux desktop system.  I got the most newly released (2005.11) version.  =

never tried Kanotix though, may I have a copy of it?  I am glad to offer =
a
copy of Ubuntu in exchange (or to anyone who is interested).

I am also in Sanlitun, installation CD exchange?

i have the latest version of kanotix (2005/4, released dez. 31st) , its
based on debian-sid and has excellent hardware recognition, kde. Its a
live-cd with an easy hd-installer. If you like, you can pick it up. I am =
