RE: where to get slackware or debian

Hi I will bring 10 ubuntu installation CDs to the Blug meeting (next
Tuesday), and give to anyone who is interested (first come first get).=20

I'd appreciate if anyone would bring other distributions of Linux CD and
share it with me too.

It would only take a couple of hours to download any of these =
distributions
off the internet, by exchanging installations, I also wish to exchange =
some
user experiences with the ones who have used the distribution.  I have =
been
using Ubuntu on my laptop these days and would like to introduce the OS =
to
anyone who would also like to try out.

indeed might be a bit more userfiendly, although Kanotix also has a lot =
of
installation help and scripts. The reason why I love it is its hardware
recognition, it was literally the only distribution that would install =
on my
new Acer laptop without major problems (Ubuntu and Suse 10 did not work =
for
example). But please yes, also burn me a copy of your ubuntu version =
which
