ADSL in Beijing

Hello folks:

I've just moved here and am trying to set up the ADSL for my Ubuntu box. =
 After reading thru some posts, i found out about the ppp0 connection, an=
d believe i've got *that* working but am still not connecting.=20

In terminal, 'plog' returns messages that MTU and MRU can't attain 1500, =
but then it also says "Remote message: 18, user (username xxx), Checking =
LoginUser RBillServer, return Illegal Account, Request deny by bj.cn^j"
& then it terminates.

So now i wonder if i have everything rigged correctly and it's just somet=
hing wonky on the telecom co. end or am i missing something?

Advice would be greatly appreciated!
